I found this wonderful free pattern for paper embroidery Christmas cards (2008/02/12) at the Wild Eyed Wonderfuls blog. I made my first card exactly like the ones from the blog site and promptly forgot to take a picture of it.
Then I got the idea of taking the tree shape and manipulate it and create a card in Photoshop many trees as backgrounds and then paper embroider the main tree.
Christmas Candle
I came across the free pattern for the Christmas candle (2008/12/21) at the ‘String art is my craft‘ website. Never happy with just one version I tried several. I had some gold sticker paper and tried out different threads.
